G3 Reunion Live reunites three guitar giants for a sonic celebration that renews a tradition stretching back to 1996. Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, and Eric Johnson inaugurated the G3 concept 28 years ago which put them on stage together for the first time ever.
The G3 tour line up changed over the years, but in 2024, the original G3 reunited for a sold-out run of dates in the US. That experience is embodied in G3 Reunion Live (and much more than “just” a live album).
The format of the tour is mirrored here with a full set from each guitarist with their own band, followed by a full-on jam featuring all three. Each Deluxe Edition artist LP is a different colour and the “jam” LP a splatter combination of all three. Fans get a “new” album from each artist plus a new LP from a certified supergroup, The Media Book is also divided into separate artist and jam chapters.
The individual repertoire is comprised of signature tunes from each guitarist such as Joe’s “Sahara,” Steve’s “For the Love of God” and Eric’s “Cliffs of Dover.” The encore jam features covers from the likes of Hendrix and Clapton.

The Vinyl Whistle uses Royal Mail for national and international deliveries.
For UK deliveries, please allow up to 7 business days for delivery; expected delivery usually between 3 - 5 days. Delivery outside of the UK may take longer, please allow up to 15 business days for delivery; expected delivery is between 5 - 10 days.
We only do Signed deliveries for domestic UK orders, and Tracked deliveries for international orders with Royal Mail to ensure safe and quicker delivery of your orders.
Please note, The Vinyl Whistle accepts no responsibility for any package which is damaged, lost or stolen during transit. Compensation for damage or loss should be pursued through the claims procedure offered by the Royal Mail - contact us if you need help with this.

If you have purchased a pre-order as entry to one of our instore gigs, you will be able to collect the vinyl or CD on the day of the event and get it signed by the performer or band.
We won't be printing tickets for this, please use your email order confirmation for entry.
