Restored from the original 1976 analogue master tapes, this 50th Anniversary edition of Sad Wings of Destiny is a vital revisit to a landmark release from Judas Priest.

First released in 1976, Sad Wings of Destiny helped shape heavy metal as we know it, with Victim of Changes, The Ripper and Tyrant still hitting with real force.

Produced in cooperation with Judas Priest, this edition was mastered for vinyl at half speed, keeping the power and dynamic range of the analogue recordings while bringing out remarkable clarity and depth. Sequenced in the band’s intended running order, it opens with Prelude and restores the album as originally envisioned.

The Vinyl Whistle uses Royal Mail for national and international deliveries.

For UK deliveries, please allow up to 7 business days for delivery; expected delivery usually between 3 - 5 days. Delivery outside of the UK may take longer, please allow up to 15 business days for delivery; expected delivery is between 5 - 10 days.

We only do Signed deliveries for domestic UK orders, and Tracked deliveries for international orders with Royal Mail to ensure safe and quicker delivery of your orders.
