Originally released in 2008, Syncopated City is London Elektricity's fourth studio album: a metropolis of songs and soundscapes underpinned by concrete beats and basslines.
Home to classics such as 'Just One Second' and 'Attack Ships On Fire', the album features longtime collaborator Liane Carroll, whose vocals move from the haunting 'This Dark Matter' to 'The Point Of No Return' and 'All Hell Is Breaking Loose'. Swedish vocalist Elsa Hedberg debuts on 'Just One Second', while Tony Colman adds his own vocals and adlibs throughout. Classic London Elektricity funk on 'Sat Nav' sits alongside deeper, moodier moments on 'Uska' and 'Bare Religion'.
