Record Store Day 2025 precedes the tenth anniversary of English singer-songwriter Frank Turner’s sixth studio album, Positive Songs For Negative People (released in August 2015) and brings the next album in the series of Turner’s collectible tenth anniversary editions. Positive Songs For Negative People originally debuted at #2 on the UK album charts, and #69 on the Billboard 200.
Pressed on limited edition blue and red vinyl, the original album is accompanied by a second bonus LP containing the Mittens EP B-sides for the first time on vinyl, as well as the previously unreleased original ‘Hamburg Demos’.
In line with previous editions, this expanded reissue is packaged in a striking metallic effect gatefold sleeve, within an O-Card. The 4 page insert contains lyrics and new liner notes written by Frank, reflecting on the time around the creation of this album.
The album was recorded at Traxidermy Studios, Nashville, TN, in December 2014 with Frank’s band, The Sleeping Souls, and producer Butch Walker. The demos were recorded at WilhelmsRock, Hamburg, Germany. All mastered and cut by Frank Arkwright at Abbey Road Studios.
This release follows Turner’s recent tenth studio album, Undefeated, and extensive touring through UK, Europe, America and Canada throughout 2024 into 2025.

For UK deliveries, please allow up to 7 business days for delivery; expected delivery usually between 3 - 5 days. Delivery outside of the UK may take longer, please allow up to 15 business days for delivery; expected delivery is between 5 - 10 days.
We only do Signed deliveries for domestic UK orders, and Tracked deliveries for international orders with Royal Mail to ensure safe and quicker delivery of your orders.
