The Cult, unlike its predecessor bands the Southern Death Cult and the Death Cult, was unapologetic about its mainstream rock and roll aspirations, which makes Pure Cult: the Singles 1984-1995 the best possible starting place for the group, and for many, the logical end point as well. The Cult was a singles band, and a pretty great one, too, as evidenced by the stones-like 'Love Removal Machine' and the blazing 'Fire Woman.' although the set isn't chronologically ordered, Pure Cult still gives a good sense of the band's surprisingly organic shift in sound, ranging from the gothy neo-psychedelia of 'She Sells Sanctuary' to the sneering rock of 'Star.' Totally remastered, featuring 19 of your favourite Cult tracks including 'She Sells Sanctuary', 'Edie (Ciao Baby) ' and 'Sweet Soul Sister', with new artwork.

For UK deliveries, please allow up to 7 business days for delivery; expected delivery usually between 3 - 5 days. Delivery outside of the UK may take longer, please allow up to 15 business days for delivery; expected delivery is between 5 - 10 days.
We only do Signed deliveries for domestic UK orders, and Tracked deliveries for international orders with Royal Mail to ensure safe and quicker delivery of your orders.

If you have purchased a pre-order as entry to one of our instore gigs, you will be able to collect the vinyl or CD on the day of the event and get it signed by the performer or band.
We won't be printing tickets for this, please use your email order confirmation for entry.
