French-born, UK-based keyboardist Wally Badarou has long been a quiet architect of modern music, from Compass Point Studios sessions with Grace Jones and Gwen Guthrie to defining Balearic and synth-pop with his solo work. This latest release draws from pieces first developed in 2001, where he now adds his own vocals and lyrical reflections over the lush instrumentals. Tracks such as 'Simple Things' and 'The Lights Of Kinshasa' showcase Badarou's shimmering synth textures and fluid runs, while 'Pearls' drifts with a soulful, meditative grace. It's rare to hear him step forward as singer, yet the intimacy suits the material and brings a new warmth to his layered production. Both archival and newly reborn, it's a glimpse of a pioneer still reshaping his legacy.

For UK deliveries, please allow up to 7 business days for delivery; expected delivery usually between 3 - 5 days. Delivery outside of the UK may take longer, please allow up to 15 business days for delivery; expected delivery is between 5 - 10 days.
We only do Signed deliveries for domestic UK orders, and Tracked deliveries for international orders with Royal Mail to ensure safe and quicker delivery of your orders.

If you have purchased a pre-order as entry to one of our instore gigs, you will be able to collect the vinyl or CD on the day of the event and get it signed by the performer or band.
We won't be printing tickets for this, please use your email order confirmation for entry.
